Founder, Writer, Researcher

The Wilder Cities project was created in June 2018, to advocate for a closer relationship between architecture and urban wildlife. By researching and documenting the latest developments in urban design and conservation, the project promotes the benefits of consciously designing and growing more naturally alongside other species to create a more resilient urban landscape for all.

In 2018, the Wilder Cities project was funded by the Norman Foster Travelling Scholarship and the Royal Institute of British Architects, to undertake critical research in Taiwan, South Korea, China, Hong Kong, and Japan. This research culminated in a collection of articles and maps collated into a book entitled 'East of Eden: Emerging Ecologies in the Far East'.

In 2024, Architectural Design (AD) published an article entitled 'Flying Feral', continuing the focus of Wilder Cities research, with a particular focus on the lives and homes of birds and insects in mega cities.
